Autobiography Of Miss Jane Pittman, The
$25.00
Story of a black woman in the South who was born into slavery in the 1850s and lives to become a part of the civil rights movement in the 1960s.
Although produced as a ‘TV Movie’ in the United States, this highly acclaimed film was shown theatrically elsewhere in a limited capacity (often as part of a film festival).
This exceptionally rare lobby card (which consists of a universal backing card with an 8 x 10 still attached to it) is in ‘theatre used’ condition with the main points of note being the usual light edge/corner curling, single staple marks to the corners of the card & sides of the central still and some minor creases. There is also some excess adhesive (used to attached the Still) around the edges, silvering to the left and upper Still edges and some scattered light marks to the B&W still (including a light watermark by her hands).
Cards such as these are inexpensive to frame as they are the same size as ‘off the shelf’ photo frames that readily available from most major department stores. See the final ‘example’ image showing some of our own collection displayed in $8 frames.
