On The Avenue
$15.00
Broadway producer satirizes an important New York family. The family sues but their daughter falls in love with producer.
From the late 20’s to just after 2nd World War musicals were incredibly popular with theatre goers and like today where you are able to download the accompanying soundtrack to a movie, you were able to purchase the sheet music to play on your home piano for a good old fashioned family sing song.
More often than not sheet music covers would feature the stars of the movie, along with unique artwork unseen on the theatrical posters, therefore in their own right they make lovely display pieces once framed.
The main points of note with this one are some very minor edge/corner wear, minor scuffs & marks, along with the usual slight age darkening to the internal pages. In all a great looking piece featuring a fantastic montage of the main stars.
