Walk The Proud Land
$65.00
The great Audie Murphy (the most decorated soldier in US military history) stars as the real life John Clum, an agent sent from Washington in 1874 to take charge of an Apache reservation, who forces the oppressive the Army to back off, which although creates conflicts, causes the Indians to have great respect for him.
Although printed in Australia, this 50’s daybill was printed solely for New Zealand use (no triangular Australian ratings decal below Audie). However no NZ ratings stamp was ever applied to this space, leaving this artwork in an extremely clean state. You will honestly struggle to find another example clear of any ratings decal, stamp or snipe such as this!
As you can see from the photograph, this rare daybill is in great condition with the following points of note: It has the usual fold lines, pin holes around the border, darkening of paper (evident due to previously covered strip on top border) and a 10mm tear to the left border edge (would frame out). Please also see the image and ratings guide below for more information.
The fold lines and creases could easily be addressed by linen backing this poster (see FAQ’s and Services), please contact us if you would like to have this carried out prior to shipping. This process usually takes up to 4 weeks to complete and costs vary depending on what (if any) additional services you may ask for, such as bleaching (whitening of the paper) to cosmetic touch ups.
